Formerly known as the Twisted Mare and the Curtis Cattle Company (CCC). Is now The Anvil Bar and Grill in Curtis Nebraska.

The need for a bar and grill in the community of Curtis Nebraska was evident when current proprietors saw the opportunity to bring the establishment back to life after being voided for a couple of years.

Husband and Wife, Cody and Tonia Eggleston along with Marvin Fisher have ties to the community. Both Tonia and Marvin were born and raised in the community of Curtis and Cody attended NCTA in the early 90’s.

After extensive clean up and renovation the proprietors reopened as The Anvil Bar and Grill in May of 2021.

The Name comes from the history of Frontier county with a blacksmith shop being one of the first established businesses in Curtis in the Late 1800’s. The Décor of the business is littered with History of the community as well as tools from the era.
